3 must have versatile pieces for spring/summer 2023
Before purchasing any new clothing items for the spring/summer months, there are three necessary questions to ask before clicking on that "add to cart" button...
1. Will this piece be both comfortable and cool enough to wear in the brutal Houston heat?
2. Does this piece feel current and up-to-date, without being too trendy?
3. Does it have enough versatility to wear in multiple outfits for multiple situations?
If the answer, is no to any of the above questions, it's not worthy of a spot in your closet.

1. THE DRESSY CASUAL SHORT
Shorts can be tricky when it comes to being both comfortable and age appropriate. I hear from clients all the time that they just can't seem to find the happy middle short, the pair located right in between riding up the booty and hitting frumpily above the knee. The two factors that are most important here are length and leg hole opening, and my favorite short thats hitting all the right check boxes this season is Wilfred's Fable Linen Short. It comes in both 3" and 5" lengths, which are the perfect mid thigh lengths, not too short or too long. The leg opening is nice and roomy as well and give's these shorts both comfort and class. Pictured above is the 3" length which is ideal for women 5'6" or under. If you're on the taller side, 5'7" and up or are more conscious about showing off your legs, try the 5 inch linen short intead.
