Bye-bye boring blazers! 5 fresh ways to style the suiting trend this season.

When you think of wearing a blazer, do you immediately envision stuffy, boring, and insufferable, like that terrible corporate job you used to hate?  Does the thought of ever putting one on again cause you to involuntarily cringe and wince?

If so, you are not the only one. I meet women everyday who have the exact same hang ups with not only blazers, but many other articles of clothing they have in their closets.

The styling services I provide allow me to help women look at their closets with a fresh set of eyes, ideas, and years of styling expertise, allowing them to discover new outfits that have them radiating with electrifying confidence.

One of my favorite parts of being a personal stylist is shopping and styling looks for my clients-- looks that they LOVE and feel 100% like THEM --that they would have never thought of on their own.

Keep reading for fresh new takes on how to style a blazer in 5 non boring ways this fall!

The days of needing to wear pants with a hemline almost long enough to touch the floor are no longer. The Wilfred Effortless pants, styled below, are hemmed below my ankle but above the sole of my foot. This fresh length gives me the freedom to wear low heels, flats, and sneakers!

Style Tip: Try vertical stripes on a blazer to create lean, long lines that are flattering to any frame. And white after labor day? Yes, please!

The fashion world is continuing the trend of wider jean silhouettes for the holiday months ahead, and I for one and am all for it! Straight and wide leg denim are my top fits for fall and I'm styling with sneakers and blazers for the perfect dressy casual outfit that has tons of versatility!

Style Tip: To nail this look, choose straight legs that are ankle length or slightly cropped. This gives it the great look when paired with high top sneakers like these all star platform high top converse.

There's just something about skirts and boots that make me excited about colder weather approaching. The 00s being on trend, the knee high boot is BACK and I was all too eager to dust these pretty girls off and put them back in my style game after years of being benched in the closet. Midi or mini, either will look fab with a longer length blazer and heeled boots!

Style Tip: Go all out with the trending knee high boots and mini skirt. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I always recommend investing in leather for fall months as it's never a purchase I regret buying or fail to reap the benefits from year after year. I dropped a pretty penny on these genuine leather shorts from Reformation 3 years ago and I still look forward to wearing them the second the temps drop!

Style Tip: The neutral black and nudes in the blazer, shoes, and shorts will allow you to style any solid color or a range of patterns underneath this look--not just leopard which is shown here!

Who doesn't love the one and done ease of a dress? Add an extra layer of interest, style, and warmth by adding a blazer and ankle boots to mix up and give a fresh feel to the old favorites you have hanging in your closet. Effortless, stylish, and comfortable--doesn't get much easier.

Style Tip: Accent a solid black blazer with a black and white printed dress with a bag in a vivid color for a pop of fun!
